Department Profile


The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI&ML) at Kalpataru Institute of Technology is dedicated for advanced knowledge and innovation in the rapidly evolving fields of AI and ML. Our department aims to equip students with a deep understanding of transformative technologies and prepare them for Excellent academic performance and successful careers in industry and research. The AI&ML department was established in the year 2023. The Department offers UG with an intake of 60. The department boasts highly qualified, experienced, and dedicated faculty committed to delivering industry-aligned education to the students. The Department Infrastructure fulfils the requirements of academics, supports research and learning skills on the latest technologies. Department has laboratories equipped with high end computer systems to carry out the lab sessions, projects and research activities. Special care is taken for each student by implementing mentor scheme. Our department is committed to creating a stimulating learning environment that inspires innovation, fosters critical thinking, and prepares students to become leaders in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Computer Science and Engineering Graduates will be able to:

Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.

Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
