President of Kalpataru Vidya Samsthe
Sri P.K.Thipperudrappa who hails from Baramasagar of Chitradurga District was born on 13/04/1941 to Sri Palleda Karibasappa and Gowramma. He did his pre-education in Tiptur and completed his Commerce graduation from DRM College, Davanagere. He is a renowned social activist and has served the society in many capacities. He was the President of Tiptur Municipal Council, was the President of the Padma Education Society and presently he is the President of Jayadeva Hostel, Tiptur. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Vinayak Credit Cooperative Society, Tiptur. He is associated with Kalpataru Vidya Samsthe for more than four decades. He has served the Samsthe as President from 2000 to 2007 and as the Secretary from 2007 to 2014. He has been successfully elected as the President of Kalpataru Vidya Samsthe for a second term in the recently held elections. He is a very simple person, down to earth and affable. He is also a great visionary and has set his eyes on the goal to develop Kalpataru Vidya Samsthe as one of the model institutes in the state.
