Kalpataru Institute of Technology was established in 1986 with a view to provide technical education to the rural youth & serve the rural people by providing technological support. The college is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgavi and is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. The college has an excellent team of qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty members with all the required infrastructure since 31 years. The college campus located on the outskirts of the town at a distance of 2 km. from Railway station and Bus Stand.

I deem it is a privilege to welcome you all to Kalpataru Institute of Technology, I take pride to inform you that KIT celebrated its silver jubilee in 2011-12. At KIT, we emphasize on all round development of every single student aided by top-notch and dedicated faculty. Our institute students were placed in reputed companies, industries and government services. Students are participated in sports, technical quiz-seminars-workshops and project exhibitions, they won several medals and appreciations.
