I welcome all young students with pleasure and an open mind on learning, practicing and developing Engineering Skills with a realization of aspirations. Department of Computer Science & Engineering was established in the year 1986 and holds a position of pride in KIT. It has consistently fulfilled its role of producing Computer Science Engineers ready to satisfy the needs of the IT world. The department has always attracted the best of engineering aspirants from all over the country. It has a well qualified and experienced faculty team. The Department offers Computer Science and Engineering for graduates(BE) and post graduates(M.Tech). The department has adequate facilities to support these teaching activities. Students of the department have sufficient high end computing facilities.

The facilities are adequate to cater the needs of Research activities.  The intake for undergraduate program B.E.(CSE) is 180 students. Our faculty members aim at delivering top class education blending their rich research experience with classroom teaching. The department always encourages students and faculty to participate in Co-curricular and Extra-curricular Activities, Organizing Workshops, FDP, Seminars, Contests, Industrial Visits, Presentations, Guest Lecture.
